Chau Doc Town with land border & Water Border Gates: Châu Doc is a small charming town in An Giang Province with a border-line alongside Vinh Te canals to Ha Tien with Cambodia. The town is about 250 km from Saigon/ Ho Chi Minh City and about 145 km on the waterway from Phnom Penh. It's a tourist destination, and the gateway between Vietnam and Cambodia by Mekong River is on speedboats and by lands is to cross Tinh Bien border Gate. The most tourist attractions to do in Chau Doc are enjoying Sam mountain at sunrise, sunset, and exploring the famous Tra Su flooded forest and a short boat ride to floating villages in town.
