Spend a few days cycling through Mekong Delta and stay a night in Rach Gia or Ha Tien before the daily speed boat of Super Dong taking you to Bai Vong Dock. You can relax on blue, sandy beaches and stay there as long as you wish! Then you can fly back to Ho Chi Minh and keep onward traveling or taking an international flight home. By plane: Phu Quoc island has an international airport that tourists can fly from overseas countries and domestic flights from Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh, Da Nang, and Ha Noi.

By roads: There are two towns that tourists can reach there by car and stay a night in cities, take speed boats to Phu Quoc islands the next day.

Rach Gia City is about 235 km south of Ho Chi Minh. Travel from Saigon to Rach Gia by bus takes about 5 hours and a -2.5 hours speed boat to Bai Vong dock, Phu Quoc islands. Ha Tien township is about 325 km from Ho Chi Minh, and it takes about 6.5 hours by bus and 1. hour speed boat to Phu Quoc islands. Travel from Saigon to Rach Gia by car, and takes about 5. hours. Then takes a -2.5 hours speed boat to Bai Vong dock, Phu Quoc islands. 

How to get to Phu Quoc islands from Cambodia?

If you were travelling from Phnom Penh and planned to stay on Phu Quoc's beach for a couple of days! Enjoy 4. hours-speed boat downs the Mekong River to Chau Doc. Following days is to take a 2. hours bus ride to Ha Tien, then take the afternoon speed boat to Phu Quoc islands. Another way, you travel to Kep from Phnom Penh and stay a night in Kep.
