Our company policy commits to collaborate with fully-licensed tour guides, who receive full professional training including illegal souvenirs to communicate to the clients how to avoid this. List of illegal souvenirs of threatened flora and fauna species can be inclusive but not limited:
Wildlife-based souvenirs (from endangered or protected species)
• Ivory items (e.g., carvings, jewelry) from elephants or
• Tortoiseshell products from sea turtles (e.g., combs, sea turtle eggs, etc)
• Coral and any products made from it
• Furs or skins from big cats (e.g., tiger, leopard)
• Traditional medicines containing parts of endangered species (e.g., tiger bone, rhino horn)
Cultural & archaeological artifacts
• Antique statues, carvings, or pottery illegally removed from historical sites
• Fossils or geological specimens taken from protected areas
• Ancient coins or jewelry without provenance or export clearance
• Sacred objects from indigenous or religious communities without permission
Other banned souvenirs
• Firearms or ammunition (including decorative or antique ones without clearance)
• Counterfeit illegal copied fake goods (designer bags, watches, branded clothing)
• Drugs (prescription or street) or controlled substances disguised as souvenirs
• Alcohol or tobacco beyond legal limits for import
• Illegal or endangered plants/wood: Orchid species, rosewood, coral, agarwood, ebony, and other protected flora cannot be exported
