Our Mekong Delta adventure begins with a convenient pick-up from your location in Saigon. After a 1.5-hour drive in a private vehicle, we arrive in a peaceful village in Cai Lay District.

Here, you’ll get your bike, adjust the saddle, and begin your cycling journey to Cai Be. The route combines quiet dirt tracks and narrow concrete paths, winding through vibrant countryside scenes. As you ride, you’ll experience authentic Mekong life along the riverbanks.

We'll make a few stops to visit local families running small businesses and get a glimpse of the Cai Be floating market. A delicious local lunch awaits at a riverside home.

In the afternoon, we board a boat and cruise to Tam Phong Island. There, you’ll paddle a sampan boat through scenic, tree-lined creeks – a peaceful and memorable experience.

Afterwards, we return to the boat and cross the Mekong River to An Binh Island. This is your chance to truly immerse yourself in the charm of the Mighty Mekong and its branch rivers.

Check in at a welcoming local homestay, where you’ll join your hosts for a hands-on cooking experience, preparing a speciality dinner together.

Begin the last day on the peaceful island of An Binh, nestled in the heart of the Upper Mekong Delta. This quiet island, known for its small population and tranquil charm, sets the perfect tone for your cycling journey.

After breakfast, we check out and load your luggage onto a boat. Our boatmen will transport your belongings to our vehicle waiting on the mainland while you begin the day’s cycling adventure from your homestay.

We start by riding through Binh Hoa Phuoc village, sharing quiet backroads with locals. Our route follows a dirt track hugging the edge of the mighty Mekong River. Along the way, we’ll stop at lush rambutan and water apple gardens, taking time to enjoy the local harvest.

Continuing our ride, we pass through peaceful riverside villages like Vinh Binh and Cho Lach, famous for their durian and mangosteen orchards. We’ll pause for a coffee break in Cho Lach, soaking in the local vibe before heading toward Cai Mon District.

Cai Mon is known as the “kingdom of bonsai” — here you’ll find countless ornamental plants, baby fruit trees, and colorful flower gardens. After exploring the area, we’ll enjoy a hearty homemade lunch prepared by locals, a true taste of the Mekong countryside.

In the afternoon, we continue our ride through lively villages lined with thousands of coconut trees, a signature of the region’s landscape. Depending on your cycling ability and preferences, our guide will tailor the route — short or long — to suit your pace and make the most of the journey. We’ll finish the ride and transfer back to Saigon.

Hi Phuong,
We had a great two days with Bao. He was an experienced rider and had good English. He tailored the trip to our experience so the pace was good and we liked that all the riding was done before lunch. It was a well-balanced trip with breaks when needed, stops at local businesses to see how they do things (incense making, brick making, coconut preparation, etc), variety of paths and roads. Bao always tried to take the most scenic routes however on some occasions this was not possible due to closures which meant we had to go on the bigger roads for longer which weren’t so enjoyable. We loved the homestay experience.
Overall we had a great time and loved our two-day riding trip in the Mekong Delta. We would definitely recommend your company to our friends like I was recommended you by a work colleague. 10-11 Mar 2023.
All the best.
Paula and Remco.
