Nui Ne has gained attention for its attractive beaches in South East Asia. This is a beautiful place that you relax and enjoy swimming after your biking adventures. The beach is shallow and sloped, the water is clean and blue, and the sun is always shining. We visit a place called Sand Hill, which has been a creative subject of artistic photographs and paintings. Besides beaches and dunes, beautiful landscapes such as Suoi Tien (Fairy Spring), the Ong Hoang Building, and the Poshanu Cham Tower. Mui Ne has long been considered the "Hawaii" of Vietnam.

Pongour waterfall is known as the most amazing fall with impressive dimentions in the south of Vietnam. The height of cascades is nearly 40 meters and stretches more than 100m through terraced stones. The waterfalls are surrounded by 25,000 square meters – a primeval forest with a diversity of vegetation and plant cover. It's an ideal location where you can immerse yourself in nature.

Road Condition

We have been making many inspection trips before the company operating and picked up all different terrains, rural paths, single tracks, and beautiful country back roads to design our unique bike tours as per your expectation. Our team, support vehicles always standby as nearest riders and are on hands with a phone call. If the riders, who love leisurely ride with short routes or distance and will hop on the support vehicles, take a rest when the other riders in the group keep exploring the beautiful countryside as long routes as they wish. We ensure that all riders are satisfied with how Vietnam Backroads organizes cycling trips without worry.

Every morning, you will transfer out of the bustling towns and ride into rustic villages and country farms and retransfer in the late afternoon through heavy traffic into the city.

Central Coast and in Central Provinces

Our hand-picked up routes with the unique tailor-make programme will please your ride. Our bicycle tours are on small roads and rural paths from Ha Noi and begin the ride in Dong Hoi down the coast to Ho Chi Minh. Another way around from Saigon to Ha Noi, and start the ride in Dalat, then down to shore, from the southern coast to the central provinces: Phan Thiet to Phan Rang, Nha Trang, Tuy Hoa, Quy Nhon, Quang Ngai, Hoi An, Hue and Dong Ha, Dong Hoi (DMZ) and Phong Nha where the ride ends or begins depending on the trip's destinations. Throughout the ride, enjoy descending the mountain from Dalat to Nha Trang, enjoy breathtaking views of Khanh Le/ Hon Giao Passes, ride along the stunning coastal routes in Quy Nhon, immerse yourself in seaside villages along the dirt tracks, meet the farmers in the vast agricultural farmlands in Hoi An before looking over the spectacular views of Hai Van Mountain Pass, vast agricultural farmlands in Hoi An, and networks of canals in rivers, and colourful lanterns lining the tiny streets in Hoi An, discover the Hue Purple City, and Quang Tri ancient town all the ways to Phong Nha through DMZ.

Stunning coast & Beaches & Seaside villages

Many small country roads are smooth and small, with less traffic, long sandy local beaches, peninsula, lagoon, mountains along the coast, and small towns; however, some roads are rolling mountains, hills, and stunning bays that the minor roads are the best choice.

Mountains, Hills and Tropical forests and Jungles

Depend on the trips you booked and where it travels through mountain climbs throughout the route, rainforest, and jungles far from the coast where the rural infrastructures are underdeveloped, or paths through deeply remote hamlets and closed to traffic. In this case, your guide will avoid riding on many undeveloped rural villages, and dirt tracks are unsafe, bumpy and very rocky, slippery and landslide when it rains, and lead you depending on the minor roads.

We ride mostly on small paths along fishing villages, seafood farms, and lush flat rural farmlands, small villages for support vehicles to go along with the riders. But the support vehicle will be on minor roads running parallel and driving along as close to riders as possible. The networks of small paths crisscross rural, and this will be easy for riders to meet the support vehicles at corners, forks on country roads after approximately 15 km, 20 km, or 25 to 30 km on a daily bike ride.

The rainy season in Central Vietnam is usually around September until early last January, which coincides with the best humidity and temperature of the entire year, with the high levels of rainfall from September to November. Sometimes, typhoons from the sea affect Hoi An, and flooding might occur in Hoi An's old town from October to December. October until February is the peak season for tourism in the country. The dry season between January & August with temperatures ranging in the mid 30°C, and humidity. In general, the weather in central is divided into two seasons, and the rainy season and the dry season do not coincide with the two climatic regions of North and South. It's hot and humid from May to August, so it's the best time to do bicycle tours from September to April.

Hi Vietnam Backroads, we´re back in Austria and in the cold weather. I wanted to give you some feedback concerning the bike-tour. As I´ve already mentioned my husband and are were very happy with the tour and the guide although we had expected to do more biking. To tell you the truth we haven´t been aware of the fact that Dalat is so far from HCM. BUT we very much enjoyed the trip to Dalat because it was worth it and if we had travelled on our own we wouldn´t have gone there. It was a pitty that the weather was not too good but our guide, Viet, organized an interesting and varied day for us and he showed us a very nice and hidden restaurant in Dalat which we would never have found without him. There we learned how to prepare the Vietnamese spring rolls J. The hotels of the tour were very nice, especially the one in the jungle! You should keep this as a fix part of your tours. Viet was a very good guide and also our driver was very kind and always helpful. 25 - 26 - 27 - 28 Dec, 2017

It was fantastic experience for my 2 boys and myself. Dat we could not rate more highly. He was very engaging and very informative on the Vietnam history. That we were traveling through. The fruit stop we all enjoyed. We would highly recommend Vietnam Backroads Bicycle Tours. The bikes we could not fault nor the hotels. However, I would strongly state that our fantastic experience came about through our excellent guide Dat. This attention to hygiene was brilliant. We wish Dat and your company all the very best for a successful future. Don, Ben, same Robinson. 17 -18 19 - 20 Dec, 2014
