Ninh Binh Bike Tour- Trang An & Tam Coc

Tam Coc – Bich Dong is often referred to as the “Ha Long Bay on land.” Its breathtaking scenery of limestone karsts rising dramatically from emerald rice fields creates a landscape so magical that it has earned the poetic nickname “Dragon Descent.” The name reflects the belief that the area’s majestic beauty resembles a dragon gracefully descending from the sky, much like the legendary origins associated with Ha Long Bay.

Hoa Lu is the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries. This historic site played a crucial role in the early formation of the Vietnamese nation. Today, visitors can explore the remains of royal temples dedicated to emperors such as Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh, gaining insight into the country’s rich cultural and political heritage.

Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM and transfer you to a rural village near Phu Ly for a morning bicycle ride to Trang An Heritage Site.

Upon arrival, we will cycle through fertile vegetable fields, follow quiet village pathways, and ride along a peaceful river, passing ancient temples and pagodas while enjoying the tranquil countryside scenery. After cycling more than 11 km along the river, we will continue through lush rice paddies, ride alongside a network of canals, cross the Day River, and proceed toward Trang An.

Upon arrival, enjoy a lunch break and take time to savor a traditional Vietnamese coffee (Ca Phe Sua Da).

In the afternoon, we will board a traditional rowed sampan to explore the Trang An Landscape Complex, a spectacular area of limestone karst peaks interwoven with valleys, many of which are partially submerged and surrounded by steep, near-vertical cliffs. After a two-hour boat journey through Trang An, we will transfer to your hotel by support vehicle.
