After breakfast, enjoy a short transfer to a quiet rural village where the morning ride begins. The route follows National Road 106, winding through peaceful countryside dotted with small towns, lush terraced rice fields, mountain backdrops, and gentle rivers.
A key highlight of the morning is the climb over Cao Pha Pass, a small but rewarding challenge. After reaching the summit, enjoy a scenic descent through fertile farmland and valleys inhabited by H’mong and Thai ethnic communities. Pass through the untouched village of Muong Bu, where traditional ways of life remain intact.Continue to Muong La township and pause for a local lunch by the serene Da River.
In the afternoon, ride along the spectacular and little-traveled Road 109. This quiet mountain road takes you past stilt houses nestled at the foot of forested hills and across sweeping landscapes of terraced rice fields. The ride offers countless photo opportunities as you cruise alongside a tranquil reservoir.
Take a refreshing coffee break at the local Hot Springs, or relax your legs with a short soak before completing the final 13 km. This last stretch winds through rural farmland and gradually climbs through forested paths and grassy hills before descending into the magnificent rice terraces of Mu Cang Chai. Arrive at the Ecolodge in the late afternoon.
