The highlight site you are going to see is the colourful Cai Rang floating market in action. There are plenty of wooden boats from the neighbouring countryside and provinces coming here to do business. Locals from villages nearby come to market by small boat to buy and sell all different farm products. It's the best time for locals to come here to do business; people try to bargain over the price to do purchasing from boat to boat. It's easy to recognize what kinds of products are to be sold on their wholesale boats—each boat hanging the item for trading on a vertical bamboo pole.
Afterward, we disembark the motorized boat for the last day of your Mekong adventure tour. We ride to explore the countryside side and backwaters of Phong Dien and Binh Thuy rural Dist. Visit the oldest ancient house. It is one of the mandarin landlords' houses in the 19th-century in the Mekong Delta, and this house has been designated an official national relic by the Ministry of Culture. Built-in 1870, and the house structures was a blend of Asian and European culture and characteristics. The exterior was French style, but the interior was a traditional Vietnamese house. The house was a filming location of "The Lover" in 1992 based on Marguerite Duras's novel, who loves Huynh Thuy Le between 1928 to 1932 in Sadec township.
Lunch in town od Can Tho. Following lunch, we'll transfer a 20-minutes to Binh Minh' countryside to enjoy a half-day ride to Vinh Long. The routes are through the incredible countryside, Khmer villages, past colourful pagodas and Khmer temples. We will top at local homes, learn more about Khmer culture. Ride through rice paddy fields, cross the rivers on the narrow bridges. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before driving back to Ho Chi Minh.
