Yen Minh - Dong Van - Meo Vac

We set off early today for what promises to be one of the most scenic and culturally rich days of the trip. After a leisurely breakfast, we begin with a short visit to a vibrant local hill tribe market—an authentic glimpse into the colorful daily life of the region’s ethnic minorities.

From there, we ride into the heart of the UNESCO-listed Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a geological wonderland shaped over millions of years. Along the way, we stop to explore the H’mong King’s Palace (Vuong Chi Sinh’s residence), an elegant example of traditional White H’mong architecture—stone-built homes with hand-crafted rock fences and orderly gardens, reflecting their cultural pride and aesthetic values.

Our ride continues along rolling hills and through spectacular valleys. After lunch, we climb toward the awe-inspiring Lung Cu Flag Tower, often referred to as "the roof of Vietnam," near the northernmost point of the country.

In the afternoon, we cycle one of the most iconic mountain roads in Vietnam—the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass. Towering cliffs, deep canyons, and dizzying drops make this stretch to Meo Vac an unforgettable experience. As we ascend, we’re treated to panoramic views of the Nho Que River far below, and an immersion into the raw, rugged beauty of the Ha Giang region. This ride is not only a physical challenge but a deep encounter with nature and mountain culture at its purest.
