After breakfast, we'll embark on a leisurely cycle ride to the historic bridge, built by the French during the colonial era. Continuing along the old French railway line, we arrive at the breathtaking Liphi Waterfall – often called the "Corridor of the Devil" – where mighty cascades crash through jungle cliffs.
Lunch time, we’ll return to Don Khone for lunch at a charming riverside restaurant. While enjoying delicious Lao dishes, we relax and watch the serene Mekong River drift by.
In the mid-afternoon, we cycle across to Don Det, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere of island life as we go. From Don Det, we take a scenic boat trip to explore nearby islands, including Don Som, where we experience the authentic daily life of the local island communities. In the evening, as the sun begins to set, we journey back by boat, admiring the golden glow over the Mekong before returning to our hotel on Don Khone.
