Phnom Penh - Kampong Thom

Today'sToday's adventure is a quintessential Cambodian travel experience. It combines cycling through scenic landscapes, exploring cultural treasures, and embracing local flavors. The day will take us through bustling highways, serene riversides, and historical landmarks, revealing the many layers of this vibrant country.

After a hearty breakfast, we set off by bus, leaving behind the city's buzzing streets. The shuttle takes us along the highway for about 90 minutes to Inset Market, where our ride begins. As we pedal, the river winds through verdant fields, traditional stilted houses, and small fishing villages. These encounters make cycling in Cambodia unique—the sense of connection with the people and the land. After lunch in Kampong Thom, visit Wat Nokor, which seamlessly merges ancient and modern spirituality. This 11th-century Mahayana Buddhist shrine is a testament to Cambodia's rich religious heritage. We will then have a shuttle transfer to Kampong Thom in the late afternoon.
