We begin today's tour with a visit to the Quang Tri Museum and Mine Action Visitor Center. This center collaborates with the internationally recognized NGO Project RENEW and the Department of Foreign Affairs. It offers visitors regularly updated insights into the devastating impacts of wartime landmines, along with inspiring stories of resilience, recovery, and survival.
Afterward, our cycling journey begins just outside Dong Ha town, approximately a 10-minute drive away. Today's ride spans about 37 kilometers, taking us along a mix of dirt roads and asphalt back roads that wind through serene rice paddy fields, lush hillside farmlands, and sections of jungle terrain. The route features mostly undulating paths, with gentle hills and occasional flat, smooth stretches, offering a pleasant and engaging ride. Along the way, several cultural stops will allow us to immerse ourselves in the local way of life and connect with the region's heritage. The ride concludes in Cam Phu District, where we'll then transfer to Khe Sanh township. On the way, we'll pause near the iconic Rockpile Hill for a photo opportunity before continuing the rest of the day to the hotel.
