We set up early today for many highlights and the most natural beauty of the trip. In the morning, we'll cycle out of town and undulate through hilly farmlands, rice terraced, then challenge the incredible Tham Pha Pass, an iconic s-shaped mountain pass on Ha Giang mountain. It has nine curved steps and is considered one of the most hazardous passes in far north Vietnam. We'll pass buckwheat fields by the valley, roll into the world-listed Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark's heart and tribe villages, and encounter captivating scenery and majestic mountain ranges. Continue the morning by speeding up gentle hills and mountain passes, pedaling along the Chinese border, waving tribes living here in their houses built in Chinese style along little villages to the gate entrance to Lung Cu. It's great for those who want to see stunning panoramic views of the surrounding valleys, mountains, and breathtaking landscapes of the border belt 3 km from Lung Cu Flat.
After lunch in town, we'll take a-45 45-minute shuttle to Dong Van town. Make a stop at the Hmong King Palace - The house of Vuong Family, the king of Hmong tribes before we check-in at the hotel, and take individual time to explore Dong Van, an ancient town.
