Cai Be – An Binh Island – Can Tho

We begin the day cycling from the resort, following the shady back roads through lush orchards, and cycle to Ba Kiet, one of the oldest ancient wooden houses by the creek. This is a chance to learn more about the Vietnamese three-partial house in the delta. Enjoy Vietnamese cafe sua da, then resume cycling on concrete paths along the winding rivers to the local Cai Be pier, where we board the Cai Be Princess Boat, enjoy a 45-minute boat crossing the Mekong River- Upper River to Dong Phu village, An Binh Island. We'll continue to explore vibrant villages, pass kindergarten, primary schools, and small markets, taste seasonal fruits at local orchards, and experience the life of people, enjoy delicious lunch at a local homestay on the island before we have a ferry crossing to Vinh Long City. We then transfer 30 minute to Ba Cang, Tam Binh District, where we'll roll on authentic villages, through Khmer villages, join locals on ferry boats, visit one of the beautiful Khmer temples before we'll end the day at Can Tho Suspension Bridge for a short transfer to Victoria Hotel which is 30 minutes away. You are free in the evening to explore the town and choose your own dinner options: visit the vibrant street food market in the town OR choose some famous restaurants by the rivers in the city center.
