Today’s journey takes us to the breathtaking Bac Son Valley, a lesser-known treasure nestled in Lang Son Province. Surrounded by towering conical mountains, Bac Son is home to traditional stilt-house villages inhabited by the Nung, Dao, and Tay ethnic groups, set amid lush rice paddies. One of the highlights is Na Lay Mountain, a scenic viewpoint beloved by locals and travelers alike for its panoramic views of the vibrant valley below.
Due to the long distance, your guide will optimize the route to ensure the best cycling experience. We begin with a 1 hour and 45-minute transfer to That Khe, where we’ll hop on our bikes and set off through remote villages, pedaling winding mountain roads toward a summit that rewards us with sweeping views of majestic mountain ranges.
From there, it’s a thrilling descent into a quaint town, followed by a rolling ride along hillsides, fertile farmlands, and riverbanks as we make our way to Binh Gia for lunch. After a well-earned rest, a short transfer brings us to Bac Son Valley, where we’ll settle in for the night at a welcoming local homestay, surrounded by peaceful scenery and ethnic charm.
