Ha Giang stretches along a 270 km border with China’s Yunnan Province and spans over 7,927 km² of dramatic limestone peaks and rugged terrain. This region is home to 22 ethnic groups, creating a rich mosaic of cultures, languages, and traditions that make it one of Vietnam’s most culturally vibrant provinces.
Today’s journey takes us through some of Ha Giang’s most iconic landscapes. We'll explore the prestigious limestone mountains and the breathtaking rice terraces of Nam Khoa, including the famous “Paradise Terraced Fields,” which have been recognized as a National Heritage site of Northeast Vietnam.
As we ride, we'll pass through remote tribal villages tucked into the hillsides, where traditional wooden stilt houses and vibrant local customs offer a glimpse into life untouched by time. The route includes several challenging hill climbs—rewarding us with sweeping views and photo-worthy vistas—before we descend toward Tan Quang.
After completing our ride, we’ll transfer by vehicle to Ha Giang town, where we can rest and reflect on the extraordinary cultural and natural beauty, we’ve just experienced.
