Ride through the forest - Cat Tien Archaeological Site - Dalat

Nam Cat Tien is southern Vietnam's most central park of lowland tropical rainforests. This is a great place to return to nature, immerse yourself in natural landscapes and wildlife, and relax for a few days. After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we have a boat ride on Dong Nai River; plenty of birds, swimming snakes, macaques and civets along the and listening to brid's singing.

Then we go back to the hotel to check out. Then we carry on our bike adventure; from the park, we ride on the dirt track to sub-Nam Cat Tien forest via Dak-Lua, the lush eco-system of a semi-evergreen forest and wetland-flooded evergreen forest. There are many stops along the paths, admire giant trees, visit local farms, and learn more about the animals in the forest. Then we ride to Cat Tien Archaeological Site which was discovered in 1985 un sub- Cat Tien Park. After eight cycles of excavation, archaeologists have found many structures influenced by Indian civilization similar to the Cham towers in My Son Heritage Site in the central Quang Nam Province. This is an opportunity to learn more about and admire the stone Linga-Yoni and other impressive statues. We will have a late lunch before a transfer to Dalat.
