Saigon - Can Duoc - Cho Gao - Tam Hiep Island

You are picked up at your locations for one hour transfer to the starting point of cycling, outside of Can Duoc town. We will ride on the small back road through the jasmine rice paddy field, and you will immerse in the local life. Take a small ferry crossing Vam Co River, and then we continue our riding on a small trail, country roads alongside the river.

This is a pleasant time; you can enjoy cycling through rustic country farms, rice paddy fields, scenery, and local life and meet friendly locals working on shrimp and fish farms on unique paths along the Upper Mekong River. Then, another ferry will take you to fruit orchards, where we carry on our adventurous ride to Alluvia chocolate farm, through agricultural canals, villages amongst dragon fruit fields.

This is a chance you learn about all the steps in the chocolate-making process, welcoming and seeing the farm of cacao trees. You are also could see locals make chocolate at the factory of the family. After lunch, we take a short ride to the river to have a ferry ride to the island. Just another short ride allows us to take the last ferry of today to Tam Hiep Island. It’s a small and lovely island to stay a night and see how busy the water transport is. Enjoy coffee and sunset by the Mekong River.
