Depart from Hue at 7:00 am for a short vehicle transfer to Pha Tam Giang to begin the morning ride 35 km. We cycle on a quiet country road along the Tam Giang lagoon.  Enjoy the stunning landscape along the peninsula, views several tiny fishing boats on the lagoon, see water buffalos working on rustic farmlands, and pass some vibrant local markets. Take a right turn on the dirt track to the coast, through tiny hamlets with thatch houses, colourful temples, farmlands of many vegetables and sand dunes. From the south coast of Quang Tri, we have a transfer to Vinh Moc tunnels on the coast route via Cua Viet & Cua Tung. Lunch en route before exploring Vinh Moc tunnels. After we visit the tunnels, the temperature is cool, so that we will bike 20 km along the Cua Tung beach, then the tranquil Ben Hai River to the historic Hien Luong bridge. The landmark river was the 17 parallel-divided line of North and South Vietnam from 1954 to 1975. Visit the Hien Luong Museum and enjoy the walk on Hien Luong Bridge. Finally, have a transfer to Dong Ha city to check in the hotel and have dinner in town.
