Hien Luong Bridge – Vinh Moc Tunnels - Hue

After breakfast, we travel by support vehicle to Hien Luong Bridge,- Ben Hai River was the border between North and South Vietnam was 76.1 km in length in a cross from east to west near the Dong Ha City. The DMZ- Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone was established as the borderline between North and South Vietnam from July 1954 to 1976 with 81 fierce days and nights at Quang Tri. We walk on the historic bridge of Hien Luong, take plenty of photos, view the peaceful Ben Hai River, and visit its History Museum before cycling on quiet back roads along this river until we turn left the minor road through the countryside. The rural roads are gentle and mixed with concrete and asphalt, crossing the tranquil hamlets and rustic countryside villages. The local guide will take us through all levels and see how people live during the bombardment as we reach the tunnels. Then we follow the coast, ride to Cua Tung Beach, and have a seafood lunch at a local restaurant by the sea. After lunch, relax on a vehicle driving on the coast to Hue. We stop at Cua Viet Beach to have Vietnamese coffee before going on freeways to Hue City.
