Quang Ngai is the central seaside province and attracts international tourists because of the Vietnam War. The village of My Lai massacre was the mass murder of South Vietnamese on 16 March 1968. The site will be visiting on your fantastic ride to Sa Huynh today.
We commence today’s ride from the hotel, and we quickly get out of Binh Son- a small town, then follow a small country road through fertile lands to a river where you see bamboo basket boats and salt fish farmings along fishing villages. We then ride through rustic villages to My Lai village. Visit the memorial and have lunch at a local restaurant before crossing the river on the modern bridge leading us to the beautiful lush farmlands and lovely countryside, where we experience the culture, see the farmers harvesting rice crops, and see peaceful towns along the way. Visit a traditional pagoda, enjoy a ferry crossing, and pass by salt fields and sleepy local beaches with plenty of photo takings. View the colorful fishing boats at My A fishing port before we head to Highway 1A where we hop on the support vehicle for a transfer to Sa Huynh Resort.
