Locals from rural villages usually take their farm products to this market by boat in the early morning. This is an opportunity you can activities surroundings are in action; sellers and buyers are exchange goods from sampans to sampans. Many little wooden boats move up and down and try to find good dealers for business, following the floating marketer, a transfer you to another side of Hau Giang River on the longest suspension bridge. This wonderfully atmospheric 1895 house on the riverfront, near the market. Huynh Thuy Le was the son of a wealthy Chinese family who had an affair with Marguerite Duras in 1929 when she was only 15. She immortalized the romance in The Lover, eventually made into a film. The house is a Sino-French design with intricate interior woodwork, mother-of-pearl inlaid doors, heavy wooden furniture and original floor tiles made in France. Enjoy tasty lunch at the house before we bike through the village of flowers in the countryside of Sadec, enjoy watching colourful plants and flowers. Make some stops, admire the bright flower fields, and experience taking care of plants and flowers. Afterward, we cycle past rustic country and Buddhist pagodas.
