Begin pedaling fresh out of town, rolling along an easy 25 km of gently undulating road bordered by shimmering terraced rice paddies. After passing several minority hamlets, the terrain tilts upward and the next 25 km winds into a dramatic limestone massif whose sheer walls soar overhead. We climb roughly 800 m toward legendary Heaven Gate 1, where cloud-brushed mountain villages offer warm waves and curious smiles.

From the pass, pause to absorb a panoramic sweep: the emerald bowl of Tam Son Valley framed by its iconic Twin Hills, and the patchwork fields surrounding Quan Ba. A final scenic stretch leads us on to the high-ridge road toward Yen Minh. Late this afternoon a support vehicle will transfer the group the remaining distance into Yen Minh town, giving you time to settle in and relive today’s mountain memories.
