8:00 AM – You will be picked up from your hotel for a full-day sightseeing tour of Hanoi, a city known for its rich history and colonial-era architecture. Your city tour begins with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, founded in 1070. Next, explore the historical Hoa Lo Prison, followed by a walk through the Old Quarter, famous for its 36 bustling narrow streets. You'll also visit Hoan Kiem Lake and the iconic Ngoc Son Temple.

In the afternoon, continue to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, showcasing the diverse cultures of the country's ethnic groups. You’ll also stop at Ho Chi Minh’s traditional stilt house, offering insight into the life of Vietnam’s most revered leader.

Later in the day, we’ll inspect and test the bicycles in preparation for the cycling tour. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, where you’ll have the chance to meet the rest of the group. Your tour leader will also give a brief orientation.
