Chau Doc - Phnom Penh by speed boat

Today, we embark on a truly unique boat journey, leaving our bicycles behind and boarding the early morning Victoria Speed Boat to the vibrant capital city of Cambodia. Unlike any other, this boat ride offers a fascinating glimpse into local life, with floating villages and a basa fish farm dotting the picturesque landscape along the Mekong River bank.

In the afternoon, we take a guided walking tour that delves deep into this vibrant city's rich history, cultural inspiration, and the life of Cambodians under the Khmer Rouge. We visit Wat Phnom, a symbol of the city, and then move on to the National Museum, Cambodia's most significant cultural history museum. The museum houses numerous collections showcasing a wide array of ancient artifacts, including intricate sculptures, ceramics, bronzes, and stone carvings, offering a deep dive into the country's rich cultural heritage. We then visit the Royal Palace.
