At the southern tip of Vietnam, Ca Mau is a remote frontier where winding waterways, vast wetlands, and untouched wilderness create one of the Mekong Delta’s most rewarding travel experiences. Far from the country’s busy tourist trail, this hidden corner offers an authentic glimpse into local life and nature at its purest. The region is home to the magnificent U Minh Forest, a sprawling landscape of melaleuca and mangrove woodlands teeming with birdlife and rare wildlife. Further south lies Dat Mui- Cape Ca Mau National Park, where visitors can stand at Vietnam’s southernmost point and witness the ever-changing coastline shaped by rivers, tides, and expanding mangrove forests. Rich in history, biodiversity, and natural beauty, Ca Mau is an ideal destination for adventurous travelers, birdwatchers, and nature lovers seeking to explore one of Vietnam’s last truly unspoiled landscapes.

Ca Mau Airport is located only a few kilometers from the city center. Taxis and ride-hailing services are available, and the transfer usually takes 10–15 minutes. Although Vietnam Airlines sells tickets from Ca Mau to many destinations such as Hanoi, Hue, Phu Quoc, Da Nang, and others, these are generally connecting itineraries via Ho Chi Minh City, not direct flights from Ca Mau. The Airport's runway is currently designed to accommodate smaller regional aircraft such as the ATR 72, which is why direct services are limited.
