After pickup, enjoy a scenic shuttle transfer to the outskirts of Hoa Binh, where you’ll visit the fascinating Muong Ethnic Culture Museum before beginning your cycling holiday toward Mai Chau. Pedal through picturesque countryside landscapes, passing charming hill-tribe villages and soaking in panoramic views of lush green valleys framed by rolling hills and tropical forests. 

Along the way, pause to enjoy a locally prepared countryside lunch, adding an authentic touch to your holiday experience. The afternoon ride follows gently winding roads through small valleys and undulating terrain before reaching the high road, where a short 30-minute transfer brings you into the peaceful Mai Chau Valley.

Today’s cycling adventure takes you along breathtaking routes that roll through spectacular mountain landscapes and weave along quiet paths between stunning terraced rice valleys. Pedal through remote hill-tribe villages, where panoramic views unfold across lush forests, dramatic mountains, and endless green valleys, creating unforgettable holiday scenery.

The morning ride covers approximately 25 km, offering plenty of opportunities to meet local communities, discover their rich cultural traditions, and observe how traditional handmade clothing is crafted. Pause for a memorable lunch at a welcoming local home, adding an authentic touch to your journey.

In the afternoon, the ride is about 34 km, and becomes more rewarding as you gradually ascend scenic winding roads that grow quieter and cooler with elevation. Along the way, take in magnificent valley vistas, cascading rice terraces, charming wooden stilt houses, and tiny local markets that capture the timeless beauty of the countryside.

Begin the day along a small scenic route leading to the water wheels, where the ride unfolds through gorgeous valleys and undulating terrain. Climb some of gentle hills before rolling through lush valleys, passing stilt houses, grazing buffaloes, and farmers in conical hats working in the fields. Along the way, visit local homes to gain insight into traditional tribal customs. Continue onto an S-shaped pathway winding across verdant rice terraces, then descend into lively valleys, where there are opportunities to visit local homes and family-run businesses. Afterwards, follow the undulating trails through the valleys and occasionally alongside a stream as the route gently leads toward Lang Tom Village. After crossing a suspension bridge into the tiny village, stop at an ancient tribal stilt house, where we’ll immerse ourselves in the rich culture of the region’s colorful hill tribes.

From here, venture deeper into the remote countryside, cycling through peaceful villages and alongside a sleepy river, with a local lunch enjoyed en route. Cross the Ma River via a narrow bamboo bridge, then continue along quiet village paths linking one traditional settlement to another in Ba Thuoc District. After a late lunch, enjoy a 2.5-hour shuttle transfer to Tam Coc. Upon arrival, board a rowed sampan boat and cruise along the peaceful Ngo Dong River, taking in stunning karst mountain scenery while exploring the three caves of Tam Coc. Check into a comfortable hotel for rest and a refreshing shower, savor a delicious dinner, and later board the night train to Hue.

Upon arrival at Hue Railway Station, you will be met and transferred to the hotel where we will stay tonight. After a leisurely breakfast, our first stop is the historic Hue Imperial City, the former capital of Vietnam during the Nguyen Dynasty (1802–1945). Walking through the Nine Cannons and passing through Ngo Mon Gate, you will encounter Thai Hoa Palace, a pivotal structure in the nation’s history. 

Next, we board a private dragon boat and cruise along the peaceful river to Thien Mu Pagoda, an iconic symbol of Hue that has stood gracefully on a hillside overlooking the Perfume River for more than 400 years.

After enjoying a royal-style meal in town, we return to the saddle to explore the former imperial capital of Vietnam. Ride through scenic countryside and fields to discover Hue’s many remarkable sites, including temples, bunkers, tombs, ruins, pagodas, charming villages, and picturesque landscapes. After visiting the Khai Dinh Mausoleum, continue along rustic paths to the tomb of Gia Long, the first emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty.

We then hop on the shuttle for a transfer back to Hue City. This evening is free for you to explore and discover something interesting at your own pace.

We begin today’s adventure with a short 10-minute transfer out of the city. After collecting the bikes, we ride along smooth concrete paths that wind through peaceful rice fields toward the beautiful Thanh Toan Bridge, widely regarded as one of the most charming ancient wooden bridges in Hue. Rich in traditional architectural detail, the bridge is gracefully set within a picturesque rural landscape of rustic villages and tranquil farmland.

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience authentic local culture and interact directly with English-speaking villagers, gaining insight into their daily lives and traditions. After capturing memorable photos of the scenic bridge, we continue cycling through lush agricultural lands and nostalgic countryside villages toward the sandy beach, follow the trails to Tu Hien village, and break for lunch. The route remains mostly flat before gently climbing a series of rolling hills toward Phuoc Tuong Pass. Later, we’ll gear up for the Hai Van Pass and descend to Da Nang. We then have a 1-hour shuttle to Hoi An.

Rest your legs after many adventurous days, and recover for the amazing days ahead.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and begin cycling from the hotel across the small bridge over the Thu Bon River to Kim Bong and Cam Kim villages. Experience local life as you pass lush vegetation, rice paddies, water buffalo working in the fields, and bullock carts during harvest season. The villagers are renowned for their carpentry skills and traditional wooden sampan boatbuilding industry.

Continue the day cycling through the backwaters of the Thu Bon River, crossing small and bamboo bridges before reaching the Truong Giang River. The route is mostly flat, often running alongside the river. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant, then continue cycling to the island, where you will take several ferry crossings in and out of Tam Hai Island.

Afterward, transfer to Son My village and visit the memorial site of the My Lai Massacre. Following the visit, take a short transfer to Quang Ngai to check into your hotel.

Depart at 7:30 a.m. for a scenic two-hour transfer to a rural village in Tam Quan, a charming seaside town. Upon arrival, hop back in the saddle and cycle through the small town toward the local beach. Ride along the stunning coastline, taking in fantastic views of diverse landscapes and road terrain en route to Tra O Lagoon, where lunch will be served along the way.

After lunch, continue cruising along the picturesque coastline, passing rolling sand dunes and small fishing villages on the journey to Cat Tien. As the day winds down, enjoy a short transfer to Quy Nhon.

We begin the day with a scenic 1.5-hour transfer along a breathtaking coastal road to Ganh Do fishing village, where we collect our bikes and cross the Phu Ngan River via a charming wooden bridge that connects a series of tiny villages. Along the way, enjoy sweeping ocean views, spot colorful circular bamboo boats in picturesque fishing communities, and explore the rustic farmlands surrounding the remarkable Da Dia Reefs- a striking seashore area approximately 100 meters wide and 250 meters long, home to an estimated 35,000 basalt columns. 

The day continues as we cycle along narrow countryside pathways, passing tranquil beaches, vibrant local markets, and a lively lagoon. Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to admire hundreds of floating fish farms scattered across the water. Our route then leads across rivers and rolling paths through idyllic villages, where colorful ancient temples and pagodas offer a captivating glimpse into the region’s rich cultural heritage.

The day concludes with scenic views of the natural landscapes surrounding Tuy Hoa, including lush sweet potato fields, tapioca plantations, and expansive rice paddies. After a delicious lunch in Tuy Hoa, we continue with a comfortable 2.5-hour transfer to Nha Trang.

After a leisurely breakfast, we’ll enjoy a comfortable one-hour transfer to Cam Ranh, where we board a domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to the vibrant downtown area for hotel check-in. The remainder of the evening is yours to relax at leisure and soak in the lively atmosphere of the city.

In the morning, we’ll drive from Ho Chi Minh City to Cai Lay, where we’ll pick up our bikes and begin cycling toward Cai Be. From there, we’ll embark on a private boat trip along the mighty tributaries of the Mekong River, offering a glimpse into the daily lives of those who work and live on the waterways of the Mekong Delta. Along the way, we’ll visit a family-run workshop producing traditional rice paper, local snacks, and fruit orchards.

Lunch will be served at a local home on An Binh Island. After lunch, we’ll continue cycling across the island before taking a ferry to Vinh Long, where a shuttle transfer will bring us to Can Tho.

After breakfast, we’ll check out and embark on a private boat cruise from Ninh Kieu Pier to the lively Cai Rang Floating Market, where vibrant river life unfolds in a festive holiday atmosphere. Disembark to explore charming villages along rustic paths, visit lush orchards, and savor seasonal fresh fruits. Continue to the historic Binh Thuy Ancient House before enjoying a delightful lunch en route back to Saigon, bringing your memorable Mekong holiday experience to a perfect close.
