Begin the day along a small scenic route leading to the water wheels, where the ride unfolds through gorgeous valleys and undulating terrain. After a late lunch, enjoy a 2.5-hour shuttle transfer to Tam Coc. Upon arrival, board a rowed sampan boat and cruise along the peaceful Ngo Dong River, taking in stunning karst mountain scenery while exploring the three caves of Tam Coc. Check into a comfortable hotel for rest and a refreshing shower, savor a delicious dinner, and later board the night train to Hue.

Upon arrival at Hue Railway Station, you will be met and transferred to the hotel where we will stay tonight. After a leisurely breakfast, our first stop is the historic Hue Imperial City, the former capital of Vietnam during the Nguyen Dynasty (1802–1945). Walking through the Nine Cannons and passing through Ngo Mon Gate, you will encounter Thai Hoa Palace, a pivotal structure in the nation’s history. 


Next, we board a private dragon boat and cruise along the peaceful river to Thien Mu Pagoda, an iconic symbol of Hue that has stood gracefully on a hillside overlooking the Perfume River for more than 400 years.


After enjoying a royal-style meal in town, we return to the saddle to explore the former imperial capital of Vietnam. Ride through scenic countryside and fields to discover Hue’s many remarkable sites, including temples, bunkers, tombs, ruins, pagodas, charming villages, and picturesque landscapes. After visiting the Khai Dinh Mausoleum, continue along rustic paths to the tomb of Gia Long, the first emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty.


We then hop on the shuttle for a transfer back to Hue City. This evening is free for you to explore and discover something interesting at your own pace.

We begin today’s adventure with a short 10-minute transfer out of the city. After collecting the bikes, we ride along smooth concrete paths that wind through peaceful rice fields toward the beautiful Thanh Toan Bridge, widely regarded as one of the most charming ancient wooden bridges in Hue. Rich in traditional architectural detail, the bridge is gracefully set within a picturesque rural landscape of rustic villages and tranquil farmland.


This is a wonderful opportunity to experience authentic local culture and interact directly with English-speaking villagers, gaining insight into their daily lives and traditions. After capturing memorable photos of the scenic bridge, we continue cycling through lush agricultural lands and nostalgic countryside villages toward the sandy beach, follow the trails to Tu Hien village, and break for lunch. The route remains mostly flat before gently climbing a series of rolling hills toward Phuoc Tuong Pass. Later, we’ll gear up for the Hai Van Pass and descend to Da Nang. We then have a 1-hour shuttle to Hoi An.

Stop for lunch at a local restaurant, then continue cycling to the island, where you will take several ferry crossings in and out of Tam Hai Island.


Afterward, transfer to Son My village and visit the memorial site of the My Lai Massacre. Following the visit, take a short transfer to Quang Ngai to check into your hotel.
