Pac Bo is one of Vietnam’s most significant historical sites, located near the Chinese border, about 50 kilometers from Cao Bang City. It was here that President Ho Chi Minh returned to Vietnam in 1941 and established a revolutionary base that played a crucial role in the struggle for national independence. The site features notable landmarks such as the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Temple, Coc Bo Cave, Karl Marx Mountain, Lenin Stream, Lung Ngan Cave, Nguom Vai Cave, and the Kim Dong Memorial Site. Surrounded by majestic limestone mountains, lush forests, and clear streams, Pac Bo provided both natural protection and strategic advantages for revolutionary activities. Today, visitors are drawn by its stunning scenery and rich historical legacy, where every corner reflects an important chapter in Vietnam’s journey toward independence.
