Vietnam Highlights Bike Tour 13D/12N

Today’s ride takes you through some of the most gorgeous rice terraces, traditional stilt-house villages of the Thai people, rolling hillsides, and picturesque valleys. As you cycle deeper into the remote tribal villages, you undulate on smooth concrete paths, then climbs about 3km into mountain forests, with stunning viewpoints overlooking lush valleys, mountains, streams, and winding rivers. 

We then enjoy a gentle descent through the picturesque valley, and we’ll turn on the paved road that leads us to Sam Khoe and Mai Hich villages as along quiet back roads along the Ma River. Take a walk through this village, visit some local families, and craft workshops before our lunch is served in a local home in Mai Hich Village. In the afternoon, we’ll shuttle on a mountain winding road to Pu Luong. Spend the rest of the day by the pools and view the stunning scenery.

After a leisurely and refreshing breakfast, we’ll take a short, scenic transfer to the village entrance, where we’ll hop on our bikes and begin a picturesque ride toward Kho Muong Village. Along the way, we’ll pause at the iconic water wheels before continuing through gently rolling hills and charming, secluded villages.

After discovering the region’s traditional weaving customs, we’ll follow narrow trails winding across lush rice terraces to Don Village. This enchanting settlement is dotted with rustic wood-and-thatch hamlets, where the White Thai ethnic community lives in traditional stilt houses and proudly preserves time-honored traditions such as brocade weaving, rice cultivation, and bamboo craftsmanship.

Our ride continues over gentle hills and descends into another peaceful valley, where we’ll visit a local workshop to discover the fascinating process of producing Can wine, a unique cultural specialty of the region’s ethnic minorities. Along the way, enjoy frequent and enriching visits to welcoming local homes, where villagers create beautifully handcrafted textiles and intricate traditional handicrafts.

Pedal beside a tranquil river, through fertile farmland and vibrant emerald rice paddies, until reaching Lang Tom. From here, take a comfortable shuttle transfer back to Ha Noi, with lunch served en route.

After a leisurely breakfast, take a 4-hour scenic shuttle drive to Ha Long. Embark on a unique overnight cruise tour in Lan Ha Bay, a destination offering a wide range of activities. From swimming at peaceful beaches to bamboo boat rowing, kayaking, snorkeling, and experiencing local life in floating fishing villages, this tour blends adventure with cultural immersion. With its stunning scenery and untouched sandy beaches, Lan Ha Bay is best experienced on an overnight cruise.

• 11:45 – Passengers are transferred to the Ambassador Signature Cruise at Gia Luan Pier by speedboat.

• 12:30 – A short welcome briefing will be held at the Piano Lounge or in the restaurant.

• 12:45 – Savor a buffet lunch while enjoying majestic views of Lan Ha Bay’s islands and islets.

• 15:00 – Your first excursion is to Viet Hai Village, a primitive and tranquil location rich in traditional cultural values. You will have the opportunity to explore local daily life, visit fish lakes, bee houses, and ancient homes, or enjoy a fish foot massage. For guests not participating in the excursion, afternoon tea will be served at the Piano Lounge. Guests may also stay onboard and choose to enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the spa* or unwind on the sundeck while admiring Lan Ha Bay’s magnificent scenery.

• 16:30 – Experience the thrilling onboard water slide and immerse yourself in the emerald sea.

• 17:30 – At sundown, Ambassador Cruise anchors overnight. This is the perfect time to join a cooking class or enjoy Happy Hour* and canapés at the Piano Lounge or on the sundeck (weather permitting).

• 19:00 – Savor a premium Michelin-standard dinner on the sundeck (weather permitting) while enjoying live band music (the band does not perform on Mondays).

• 21:00 – After dinner, enjoy live music, drinks, squid fishing, a spa treatment at Atelier de Beauté Spa, or movies in your cabin.

• 6:00 Start your day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck or at the Piano Lounge (depending on weather conditions).

• 7:00 Explore Dark and Bright Cave, a frog-jaw-shaped cave featuring marvelous sparkling stalactites on its arch-shaped ceiling in various shapes and sizes. Kayaking or riding on a bamboo boat rowed by locals are the best ways for tourists to admire the cave’s interior (passengers may choose one of these complimentary activities).

• 10:15 After disembarking from the Ambassador Signature Cruise, passengers will be transferred to the Halong International Cruise Port by speedboat. Lunch will be served en route on the way back to Hanoi.

Continue your morning with visits to the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda and the tranquil An Hien Garden House, two of Hue's most treasured cultural landmarks. Have an elegant royal-style lunch at one of Hue's renowned local restaurants before continuing by shuttle into the peaceful countryside. Stop at Bao La Village to experience the daily life of local villagers. Bao La Village is a 600-year-old traditional craft village, renowned for weaving high-quality bamboo and rattan products. Local artisans transform bamboo into hundreds of eco-friendly items, ranging from everyday baskets and kitchenware to modern home décor, furniture, and lamps. After the visit, return to Hue, check in to your hotel, and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure.

After a leisurely breakfast, pick up our bikes and set off to explore Hue's countryside. Experience the traditional lifestyle of the people of Hue in its historic villages, and immerse yourself in the rich culture and feudal history of the Nguyen Lords. Morning cycling offers an intimate glimpse into Hue's authentic rural life, passing historic landmarks, the ancient Tiger Arena, the scenic slopes of Vong Canh Hill, and tranquil riverside vistas. Continue to the Mausoleum of Khai Dinh, an extraordinary architectural masterpiece that blends Eastern elegance with Western influences. 

The journey continues through lush orchards and shaded pathways, crossing the Perfume River via a floating bridge before following rustic trails to the secluded Gia Long Mausoleum, the resting place of the first Nguyen emperor, nestled amid pine forests and serene natural surroundings. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed and escorted to downtown Saigon for hotel check-in. The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure.

At 8:00 AM, depart from your hotel and begin the day with a scenic 1.5-hour transfer to the outskirts of Tan An, where you will pick up your bikes and set off to discover the enchanting Mekong Delta. Enjoy a delicious lunch in the vibrant city of My Tho before continuing your journey in the afternoon through Mo Cay, where tranquil rural beauty unfolds along smooth concrete cycling paths. Cross narrow bridges and small rivers by local ferries, passing swaying water palms and lively village markets along the way. Conclude your day with a serene ferry ride across the picturesque Co Chien River, followed by a comfortable transfer to your hotel.
