Mui Ne has gained recognition as one of the most attractive beach destinations in Southeast Asia. It is a beautiful place where you can relax and enjoy a refreshing swim after your biking adventures. The beach is gently sloped, the water is clear and blue, and the sunshine is abundant year-round. We visited a place called Sand Hill, which has long inspired artistic photography and paintings. Beyond its beaches and dunes, Mui Ne also offers stunning landscapes such as Suoi Tien (Fairy Stream), the Ong Hoang Building, and the Poshanu Cham Towers. Mui Ne has often been referred to as the “Hawaii” of Vietnam.
Pongour Waterfall is known as one of the most spectacular waterfalls in southern Vietnam, notable for its impressive scale. The cascades drop nearly 40 meters and stretch over 100 meters across layered stone terraces. The falls are surrounded by a 25,000-square-meter area of pristine forest, rich in diverse vegetation and plant life. It is an ideal destination where visitors can truly immerse themselves in nature.

2:
Nam Cat Tien - Bao Loc
25 - 47 km km
Birdsong and the calls of forest wildlife will gently wake you this morning as you enjoy a leisurely breakfast surrounded by the sounds of nature. After breakfast, we’ll transfer for about an hour to outskirts of Madagui, a small rural village and the starting point for today’s adventurous cycling journey to Bao Loc.
Today’s ride is one of the most rewarding and challenging days of the trip, covering approximately 47km across a fascinating mix of terrain. We follow winding country roads and quiet paved lanes that gradually climb toward Vietnam’s Central Highlands, offering ever-changing scenery along the way.
The route takes us through lush farmland, coffee and tea plantations, and peaceful countryside dotted with tiny villages. We cycle alongside the sleepy Da Oai River, passing green valleys, tropical forests, and dramatic mountain landscapes that showcase the natural beauty of the region.
As we continue climbing, the cool highland air and rolling scenery make every effort worthwhile. We pedal beside the tranquil Ho Ngoc Lake and through endless tea fields, fruit orchards, and plantations, with plenty of opportunities to observe the daily life of local highland farmers.
From the outskirts of Bao Loc, we’ll enjoy a short transfer to our hotel, where you can relax and reflect on an unforgettable day of cycling through some of southern Vietnam’s most spectacular landscapes.

3:
Di Linh- Phan Thiet
25 - 95 km
In the morning, we transfer for about an hour to Di Linh, where today’s ride begins from the cool Central Highlands down toward the coast. The road rolls gently through endless coffee plantations and pine forests before reaching the minority village of Gia Bac, offering peaceful countryside scenery and quiet roads.
One of the highlights of the day is the winding ride through Gia Bac Pass, with nearly 20 kilometers of smooth roads cutting through dense bamboo jungle and beautiful mountain views across southern Vietnam’s highlands. From there, we descend toward the coast, cycling past cashew plantations, dragon fruit farms, and lotus lakes.
We stop at the stunning White Sand Dunes for a break before continuing to the Red Sand Dunes, where the warm colors glow beautifully in the late afternoon sun. After enjoying the sunset, we transfer a short distance to Mui Ne.
Famous for its blue beaches, sunny weather, and relaxed coastal atmosphere, Mui Ne is one of Vietnam’s best seaside destinations. Visitors can enjoy fresh seafood, water sports, and attractions such as the Fairy Stream, colorful sand dunes, and Po Sah Inu Cham Towers. Upon arrival, a short transfer takes you to your independently arranged hotel. Tour ends.
We´re back in Austria and in the cold weather. I wanted to give you some feedback concerning the bike-tour. As I´ve already mentioned my husband and are were very happy with the tour and the guide although we had expected to do more biking. To tell you the truth we haven´t been aware of the fact that Dalat is so far from HCM. BUT we very much enjoyed the trip to Dalat because it was worth it and if we had travelled on our own we wouldn´t have gone there. It was a pitty that the weather was not too good but our guide, Viet, organized an interesting and varied day for us and he showed us a very nice and hidden restaurant in Dalat which we would never have found without him. There we learned how to prepare the Vietnamese spring rolls J. The hotels of the tour were very nice, especially the one in the jungle! You should keep this as a fix part of your tours. Viet was a very good guide and also our driver was very kind and always helpful. 25 - 26 - 27 - 28 Dec, 2017
It was fantastic experience for my 2 boys and myself. Dat we could not rate more highly. He was very engaging and very informative on the Vietnam history. That we were traveling through. The fruit stop we all enjoyed. We would highly recommend Vietnam Backroads Bicycle Tours. The bikes we could not fault nor the hotels. However, I would strongly state that our fantastic experience came about through our excellent guide Dat. This attention to hygiene was brilliant. We wish Dat and your company all the very best for a successful future. Don, Ben, same Robinson. 17 -18 19 - 20 Dec, 2014
Many thanks for your email. We very much enjoyed the trip - and will certainly contact you if we plan another trip to Vietnam! I'm back in Europe now, missing Vietnamese weather, food and cycling! 12 - 15 May 2013
