Day
1:
Ha Tien- Chau Doc
25 - 35 km
After breakfast, meet your Vietnam Cycling Team at your hotel in Ha Tien before a short transfer to a village along the historic Vinh Te Canal, where today's ride begins.
Cycle 28 km along quiet palm-lined concrete paths through lush rice paddies, peaceful waterways, and traditional Khmer villages. Pedal beside canals near the Vietnamese-Cambodian border, where you may find yourself keeping pace with local boats. Along the way, stop to meet local residents, watch farmers harvesting rice or casting fishing nets, and experience the tranquil rhythm of Mekong Delta life. The flat terrain makes for a relaxed and enjoyable ride. After cycling, transfer to Tra Su Nature Reserve with a stop at the Ba Chuc Memorial, honoring the more than 3,000 victims of the 1978–1979 border conflict. Enjoy lunch en route.
In the afternoon, explore the renowned Tra Su Nature Reserve by motorboat and traditional sampan, gliding through flooded cajuput forests and narrow channels blanketed with vibrant green duckweed. A short walk to the observation tower offers panoramic views of this rich wetland ecosystem, home to storks, egrets, cormorants, herons, peafowl, and many other bird species. After your visit, transfer to the riverside city of Chau Doc, check in to your hotel, and enjoy the evening at leisure.

2:
Chau - Cao Lanh
Chau Doc is a small town, but it is well known for its international border crossings—both by land and water—linking Vietnam and Cambodia and welcoming travelers from both directions. Among the highlights of Chau Doc are boat trips to the lively floating villages and a visit to the traditional Cham Village.
After breakfast, take a short motorized boat ride to explore the vibrant floating village and see how locals raise catfish beneath their floating homes and gain insight into the daily lives of hardworking communities who live entirely on the water. Continue the boat journey to the Muslim village of Cham. Take a walk through the village, and stop at some families weaving traditional sarongs for the Cham communities.
Afterwards, pick up our bikes and take an easy and relaxing cycling journey along the banks of the Mekong River. Ride through peaceful villages on quiet paths, passing fields of vegetables, chili, eggplant, and rice, as well as fish farms nestled along natural creeks. In the afternoon, continue cycling on Gieng Islet, where you’ll visit an impressive monastery known for its distinctive architecture, browse local markets, and observe traditional stilt houses. A short ferry ride brings you back to the mainland, where the journey continues along scenic back roads through lush mango orchards to outskirt of Cao Lanh, and take a short transfer to the homestay.
