Vietnam Cycling Tours' team will pick you up at a hotel in Hoian, transfer you to Da Nang City, upload the bikes, and warm up the ride with 10km before a 10km climb to the top of Hai Van Pass. The Pass is considered one of the most spectacular in central Vietnam. We'll take some time to admire the views of Lang Co and Da Nang Bays on the winding road to the summit. Enjoy Vietnamese coffee at the top with the photo-taken opportunity before we cycle downhill to Lang Co beach, where we break for lunch and swim.
In the afternoon, we'll continue cycling through the stunning countryside along the lagoon, with calm villages alongside. Then we cross Tu Hien- sea mouth and follow the pathways through rural areas to fishing villages along the coastal paths. Cycle along local sandy beaches and view the scenery of verdant farmlands. After crossing Truong Ha Bridge, we turn onto the small village roads, biking along the lagoons through lush rice fields and vegetation farmlands. There are many stops along the routes; small local markets, old temples, colorful pagodas, and across the rice fields to Thanh Thuy village, where we experience local lives and admire the Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge. It is an ancient architectural relic with historical and cultural values. It is one of the few bridges with high artistic value in Vietnam. Afterward, we continue the day, crossing vast rice paddies to the outskirts of Hue. Take a short transfer to the hotel.
Hue is the feudal educational royal center and the home of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1804 to 1945. We will spend the whole day discovering Vietnam's culture, history, and local lifestyles in modern days as well s the past. We'll take a boat ride to the Perfume River and visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Then we'll cycle into the countryside, pedaling along the river through fruit orchards and peaceful countryside villages, passing old mandarins and temples before we visit the Minh Mang mausoleum. Then we cross the river on the pontoon bridge and follow the trails to back roads, where we keep riding to Khai Dinh Tomb. The rest of today is to explore the country back to Hue by stopping at local family workshops before we drop you off in Hue City
