A Luoi Town is about 75 km from Hue City and is nestled in the mountains southwest of Hue. A Luoi is a mountainous district in the North Truong Son Range. The area is known for Hamburger Hill, located near the A Shau Valley and the border with the provinces of Salavan and Sekong in Laos. It was the site of several U.S. military bases that witnessed fierce battles during the war, including Asho Airport and Hamburger Hill, which was immortalised in the 1987 film Hamburger Hill. The district also surrounds approximately 100 kilometres of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. Vietnam Bike Tours
