Arriving in Coc Ly at 10 am, it's the right time we spend time participating in the local market, which opens every Tuesday. The colorful hill tribe market is where many tribes exchange with each other by dealing with what they have at the market; colorful traditional customs, agricultural bamboo tools, farm products, etc. The tribes also trade animals such as cows, dogs, big cats, and buffalos if they are valued or cost the same. Afterward, we continue the day on the dirt track to Bao Nhai Bridge and follow the road to Bac Ha town. Do check in and relax on your own.
- Bac Ha Sunday market - 75 km from Lao Cai

Depending on your departure date, the itinerary will change to see the tribal market in action, and we might ride in the morning or the afternoon. (Optional cycling trip to Bac Ha on Sunday market. We will change the itinerary if you arrive in LAO CAI Sunday morning. Instead of cycling to Coc Ly for Tuesday market and then riding to Bac Ha, we can transfer to Bac Ha Market for your joining in the morning market. We will ride in the afternoon)

In the morning, it is an incredible ride to cycle into the world-listed Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark's heart and visit the House of Vuong Chi Sinh- the King of the H'mong people, where his family is still living in. The house is typical of the housing design of the White H'mong people, who prefer to live in spotless homes with graceful handmade rock fences surrounding their gardens. We ride rolling hills, stunning valleys, and the highly breathtaking Ma Pi Leng Pass to Meo Vac mountain cliffs in the afternoon.
Having a leisurely breakfast, we quickly visit the colorful hill tribe market before we ride to Dong Van. You are rewarded by pristine nature and magnificent Karst Plateau scenery while cycling ascending to the summit. Stop to visit and explore Hmong King Palace (Vuong Chi Sinh Palace), and then we will continue cycling to Lung Co Pole Flag Tower. After lunch, we ride to Meo Vac. Follow the main road out of town. A daily market in the town center of Meo Vac is used mainly by the White Hmong, Tay, and Lo Lo hill tribes. It's a chance for us to explore before today's ride. We will pass people from the local minority communities along the way dressed in their vibrant tribal costumes. Stop on sideroad to visit a local market or explore the daily life of hill tribal people. Have lunch en route. The following lunchtime, we continue to ride along the Nho Que River, then Gam River, conquering on a relatively rigid pass before descending to Bao Lac town.
Today is the most challenging cycling day of our trip. We will spend half a day for 38 km ascending the peaks, but we can not beat the scenery. We'll meet hill tribes on the way; as we enter the Ha Quang rural Dist, we ride along the river, traveling through the little town, then we roll along mountain hillsides, enjoying the scenery of green valleys alongside small rivers and undulating the mountain road, through jungles to Pac Po. The place Ho Chi Minh organized a revolution again the French and Japanese. Later, he liberated the Vietnamese from the French in 1954.
