My Son Hindu Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a great sample of the ancient Champa civilization located in the southern part of Vietnam. It was an independent state from around the 2nd to the 17th century, when Vietnam took over. The impressive Hindu-themed ruins feature many beautiful stone sculptures, temples and towers in tropical jungle surroundings. We start cycling from the hotel, cross Thu Bon River on Cam Kim on Cam Kim Bridge, and ride across the island to agricultural lands, experience rural life, enjoy rural scenery, ride through paddies with ancient agriculture system canals. Then we escape the island on another bridge to the mainland and continue cycling along the country road, seeing buffalos help farmers working on farms. Ride past sugar canes plantation along foothills before we spend an hour and a half exploring the ruined My Son Sanctuary. Lunch en route before we return to Hoi An by support vehicle.
From the hotel, we ride small paths to rural villages for a ferry crossing through Thu Bon River. Pedal through the picturesque countryside of Hoi An, stop at fresh fish market and ride through farmland which is famous for the traditional organic cultivation. You can see how local people apply organic methods using natural fertilizer in growing a variety of herbs and vegetables. Then we ride on small track toward to Truong Giang River. Ride through rice fields; see water buffaloes and bamboo bridges. Explore daily life of fisherman and family along rivers; ride pass schools, local markets make some stops at Buddhist pagodas, learn the religious and cultural traditions of rural life.
Follow to breakfast at hotel, we escape bustling city of Quang Ngai for Tam Quang where today ride starts. Upon arriving cycling point by seaside village of Tam Quang, we commence to ride along the coast, through homeland of coconut trees, we then view imposing mountain ranges along ocean, ride pass lagoons and fishing farms. This is a great chance to capture pristine natural landscapes and remarkable hillside from Tam Quang to De Ghi for lunch. After lunch at seafood restaurant, we continue biking on qiuet back road through casuarina forest then salt fields, and farmlands of peanut and tapioca....and white sand dune before passing Thi Nai lagoon to Quy Nhon city
After breakfast, we do check out and enjoy particular oceanic scenery on coastal highway from Quy Nhon to Ganh Do market, Song Cau Dist. The transfer takes about 45 minutes to get to cycling point. We ride cross a long wooden bridge that built with local materials. Follow the single track through small fishing villages, shrimp, and fish farms before we ride over undulating hills all the way to the Da Dia Reef (Sea Cliff of Stone Plates). It’s a chance for us to spend time on knowing the Da Dia Reef. The rocks are dark lava columns with roughly flat surfaces of different shapes - round, pentagon, hexagon, polygon etc. Ghenh Da Dia looks like a gigantic beehive or a pile of dinner plates, hence the name – Ghenh Da Dia. Then we carry on our biking adventure on single track across farmland of corn and tapioca to An Ninh Dong village and following country back roads along lagoon to An Hai fishing village where seafood lunch well- arranged by the sea. After lunch, our adventure by bike allows us to ride on undulating narrow smooth paths; passing thatch houses, little villages and lively local beaches to before across sweat potato plantation to Tuy Hoa city. Relax on vehicle driving to Nha Trang.
Most tourists travel by bike have too much worry about cycling uphill’s as riding from Seaside town to central highland provinces. Please, do not worry about this! Dalat city is called “Honeymoon city” by locals because it’s weather cold enough so that people don’t have to use air-conditioned at hotel and also in local homes. This city is also well-known as central city of highlands and the highlight in Vietnam, famous for the beautiful landscapes. Beautiful hilly back road through green-house in rural villages make your ride more interesting. Today gives you a chance to meet local on back roads. After breakfast at hotel, you’re A/C van with guide will take you to rural area of Suoi Van, then we start to ride on downhill on asphalt quiet back road to Ta Nung and Nam Ban, ride pass valley, vegetable plantation, green houses on the way. This morning we ride about 30km. We will get on vehicle when we reach to Highway 27 for vehicle driving to Bao Loc for lunch. In the afternoon, we get back to the bike at Da Oai village and continue cycling through cashew plantation and challenge some hills before we reach to Nam Cat Tien Park.
Wake up early morning for walk along Dong Nai River where verity of beautiful birds singing, great time to know the life of birds; breeding season, travelling season and traveling migrations. Then we get back hotel for breakfast before a 3 hour guide trekking to forest. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the amazingly rich biodiversity of a tropical rainforest that seethe with wildlife when you venture into its bosom. Return to hotel a round 10:30am, take a shower and do check out for three hours vehicle transfer to Ho Chi Minh. Have lunch on the way to Ho Chi Minh.
A half day tour to Cu Chi tunnel by speed boat is a wonderful way exploring tunnel can’t be missed. You will be picked up at your hotel and taken to the Tan Cang Port- Saigon River. We then discover the tunnel; Walking in the jungle and visiting the traps, the secret entrances, the bunkers, and underground hideouts, relaxing with shooting real guns at the riffle range of Cu Chi Tunnels, seeing the rice-paper (spring roll skin) and rice-wine production line, crawling into the tunnels and enjoying the special and fantastic feeling and taking a rest, drinking green tea and having tapioca – the main food served during the war time and visit the shooting range before your lunch at restaurant. Leave Saigon at 8:00 am for 1 hour vehicle transfer to Binh Cach village, Long An. We ride past scenic rice fields through the beautiful rural villages of Binh Cach, Hoa Tinh and Ha Lac before we reach to Vinh Trang pagoda in My Tho. After lunch in My Tho you then continue your afternoon ride in Ben Tre. Here you can experience the daily activities of the locals living in homeland of coconut. Cycle through the vibrant countryside past small villages, many branches of Mekong River and explore beautiful off-the-beaten-track water palm along creeks. We transfer out of Tra Vinh city to start our ride. It's just about 20 minutes from hotel. You cycle enjoy the great views of paddy fields, colorful Khmer temples, green countryside and Khmer villages. You have plenty of free time to explore local lives at their homes and take time to chat with locals. You are also having plenty of time to capture the perfect landscape. The route is mostly flat with sunshine views. Stop at rice husking mills and local markets, to break our ride for fresh fruit before we continue riding to Tieu Can. We have a coffee break here and then riding to Restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, we bike deeply into villages by Mekong River where the fertility of alluvial soil where villages grown many of different tropical fruit are available throughout the year. We then get on our vehicle for driving Can Tho city
Do check out after breakfast; enjoy a boat ride to real floating market before we ride to Chau Doc- border town. After watching floating market, we will cycle to explore largest networks of canals and Mekong River branches. We follow the innumerable trails that connect with the most amazing scenery along vibrant villages. Passing through remote villages out of the reach of vehicles, and having the chance to get know rural culture and people amazing life style. Enjoy specialty lunch at local restaurant in countryside of Tho Lai. We then take a ferry to cross canal to explore rural villages along rivers to Co Do where we end up our last day cycling in Vietnam. We will have 2.5 hours transfer to Chau Doc
Have breakfast early, check out and our team will take you the dock to board on speed boat at 7:00am. The boat ride totally takes about 4 hours from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh. Our guide will help you with visa application at Kaamsamnor border gate. This is a chance you can enjoy beautiful scenery and local life on water on the Mekong River from Chau Doc to the Phnom Penh city. Picnic lunch box is included. You are welcomed by the team of Vietnam Backroads at the dock and you will be taken to hotel to check in. Explore the Phnom Penh capital city the rest of today; visit to the Royal Palace and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Then you will free to explore this city by the evening.
After breakfast, we will transfer you to visit Royal Palace is a royal residence now where His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and the royal families live. It is like a small town of royal dynasties. Continue to Silver Pagoda, serves less as a functioning temple than a repository for cultural treasures such as 90 kg golden Buddha encrusted with 2086 diamonds. Continue to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum was one of hundreds of detention and interrogation centers created all over Cambodia by the Khmer Rouge who gave the former high school the sinisterly innocuous name S-21 where countless thousands of Cambodians were ruthlessly processed until they were dead. Picnic lunch is at the local restaurant. Finally, transfer to Kampong Thom. After arrival at Kampong Thom we will ride the bike visit the town view and then enjoy the dinner at local restaurant, stay overnight at hotel.
At the morning after breakfast, we will bike to visit the Sambor Prei Kuk Temple, visit the newly name World Heritage Site “Sambor Prei Kuk”, Sambor Prei Kuk (Isanapura) is the former capital of the pre- Angkorian empire of Chenla. The temple, about 30 km away from the town and accessible only via a rocky road, the most impressive group of monuments in Cambodia mainly from the 7th forms Century. Picnic lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Finally, Leave from Kampong Thom and travel direct to Siem Reap. Then enjoy dinner at local restaurant and stay overnight at the hotel.
We will start the day by cycling to the famous overgrown temple Ta Phrom, then cycle to Angkor Thom and Bayon Temple (Famous for its 4 faces). Along the way, we will stop for a water blessing by the monks of Wat Palylie. Lunch will be served at the house of a local family who will cook traditional food for us. After lunch, we enjoy vehicle driving to Banteay Srey Butterfly Centre. It is a butterfly zoo near Siem Reap, Cambodia. Founded in 2009, it is the largest enclosed butterfly centre in Southeast Asia. Today we start very early to see sunrise at Angkor Watt, then cycle through the countryside to back to the hotel for breakfast. Then lunch followed by either free time or a visit to the. Transit to airport for the flight back Home.

We organize cycling holidays, cycling adventure trips and mountain biking tours. All are flexible with luxury, fully air-conditioned vehicles to support riders on the entire journey. It depends on how many riders are in the group, and the vehicle support services will be well-arranged to satisfy your travels. There are air-conditioned 16-seat van/minibuses to take up all riders, luggage, and a truck to hold all bikes during the trip.
Every morning, the vehicles will transfer you out of the bustling city, and then you will ride to explore the stunning countryside, and you will back on the vehicles to avoid traffic in town when the daily's ride ends in the late afternoon.
Every 20 - 25 km, the support vehicles will be waiting at the high road if you are tired and really would love to ride on A/C van. Your guide will escort you to vehicles easily because many country back roads are linked to the main roadways where keeping vehicles are on standby.
Then you can relax on a support vehicle when others in the group can continue cycling as long as they wish! You will meet the others at the next point/ destination where you love to re-join the group and continue to ride.
All your luggage/ suitcase and day bags are safe on the vehicles and well kept by the company's drivers and its team.
