We ride cross through the fields of vegetables, rice and nostalgic villages. Lunch en route. We arrive at the Quang Tri Citadel and spend a short time visiting its museum. The Second Battle of Quang Tri began on 28 June 1972. It lasted 81 days until 16 September 1972, when South Vietnam's Army of the Republic of Vietnam defeated the North Vietnamese People's Army of Vietnam at the ancient citadel of Quang Tri and recaptured most of Quang Tri Province. The battle destroyed almost the old fortress. Afterwards, we have a 30-minute transfer to Dong Ha City at Mine Action Visitor Center before checking in the hotel.
